More Frequently Asked Questions:

1. What does the container look like? Our containers are all-steel, weatherproof and come in three sizes– 8-foot, 12-foot and 16-foot. Our containers have “barn-style” doors offering greater security and more space than traditional roll-up doors. If you would like to see a container in person, you can visit your local Lowe's Home Improvement store as we are their exclusive Moving & Storage partner.

2. How much stuff can fit into one container? An 8-foot container typically holds 1-1.5 rooms of household goods, a 12-foot container typically holds 1-2 rooms of household goods (8 and 12 foot containers are typically available for local orders only), and a 16-foot container typically holds 3-4 rooms of household goods.

3. I don't have a driveway. Do I need a permit to put a 1-800-PACK-RAT container in front of my house? In most cases you do not need a permit to have a storage container placed in front of your home. However, you should consult your city or town hall for the local regulations.
