For the seventh year in a row, 1-800-PACK-RAT has donated portable storage containers for the annual Toys for Tots toy drive. Six containers were left at three participating Buffalo Brothers restaurants in the Raleigh, NC area designated as toy collection sites, with those donating receiving a free appetizer from the restaurant. The organization collects toys during the holiday season to give to those children who are less fortunate.
Toys for Tots is assisted by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, and the organization has been partnering with Buffalo Brothers to serve as collection points for hundreds of toys this holiday season. 1-800-PACK-RAT is proud to participate yet again in this yearly event. In 2020, the collection ran from November 16 to December 17, with all of the toys being placed into one container at the end of the event for storage until they could be distributed.
